SALES ENGINEER, SENIOR EXECUTIVE (1 Vacancy)

Job Specification

  • Work and coordinate with the strategic account manager to provide solution and/or product and technical knowledge in support of pre-sales activities in ensuring them aligned with customer requirement.
  • Provide responses to request of information (RFI), request for proposal (RFP) and tender/bid as assigned, by identifying requirement, assessing the requirement and defining solution, outline technical scope and BOM, providing technical proposal and technical clarification as and when required.
  • Conduct solution and product presentation, demonstrate product POC and advise customer on product adaption, leading technical discussions / solutions architecting and identify how company solution can address customer needs.
  • Technical liaison for customer (current and new /prospect) as per assigned this providing them with technical advised on product/ system ,technical resolution for reported issues, keeping good relationship with them and become technical bridge between technical team and customers.
  • Involve in project as assigned mostly in gathering and finalizing URS and SRS and also for project-client mediator.
  • Identify and assessing new technologies that are possible for current handled systems adaptation and prospects of new project/ client.

  • Assist on tender, proposals and RFQs technical compilation for submission and the compilation must be completed 2 hours before submission time with zero errors.

  • Compiling all department claims and must be submitted to HR department every month by 6th.
  • Any tasks given by the superiors must be completed within given date and time with zero errors.
  • Must ensure that all Business Division related documents and letters are filed according to reference number.

Job Specification

Create, maintain and strengthen good relationship with suppliers, partners and principals

  • To develop Mutiara to obtain Silver/Gold/Platinum Partner/Distributorship Program with Principals.
  • Successfully create numbers of project leads through strategic partners.
  • Successfully work with strategic partners to develop and execute product presentation and technology update for internal staff and/or customers.
  • Successfully obtained price protection with 100% comply solution for every Tender/RFQ participated with strategic partners.

To work with Bid Management Unit on all tenders preparation and compilation

  • The submission must be 100% comply to the requirements and must be submitted with zero errors.
  • For every costing prepared, the cost must be optimized according to the budget approved by the clients.
  • To participate minimum 15 Tenders/RFQs in one (1) year. Every tender to be participated must be analyzed using Bid/No Bid Form before decided to participate.

To produce competitive commercial proposal

  • Creating at least three (3) portfolios for Education Segment for Apple products this year.
  • Maintain good relationship with PDRM and advise on what kind of corrective maintenance to carried out.

To lead all the tenders preparation and compilation

  • The submission must be 100% comply with the requirements and must be submitted with zero errors.
  • To obtain several solutions from several suppliers for solution comparison and price competitiveness. For quotation received from suppliers, must successfully get additional at least 5% discount.

Shall develop and maintain the relationship with the partners, principals and existing customers on pricing purposes

  • To secure number of agreements and/or number of project leads through the strategic partners.
  • To secure number of project leads through existing customers.
  • To work with strategic partners to develop and execute products presentation to internal staff, existing and new customers whether in general product or tailoring to user specific requirements.

Skills Required

  • Assisting training team in training development and coordination activities which, include preparing training manuals, assisting technical team in the configuration of training environment and arrangement of food and beverages if needed.
